The Inspirational Liebster Award Nominations Are As Follows...

A special shout out to Yolanda Renee at Defending the Pen for nominating me for the Inspirational Liebster blogging award. I have been somewhat award averse of late due to time pressures so am pleased to be doing this one, particuarly as it doesn't seem to be one of the onerous one that requires you to find the birth certificate of your cat from 10th grade.

Portsmouth, Virginia

I am re-reading 1984 but Big Brother (ie. the Portsmouth library) wants it back.

10 IF YOU COULD BE ONE OF THE GREEK GODS WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

Dionysus, because he was the God of Wine which beats whine or war.

  4. I always appreciate your wit, David. Thanks so much for the award. [No promises, and I hope you won't be disappointed if I bypass it. This last one was the only one I've done in years. And I didn't exactly do it; I rebelled against it.]

Wow, I have recurring dreams that I'm back in college, missing classes too. So strange. It's not French class (never took that), it's History or some topic that I hated. I'm afraid I'm going to fail because of it. Then I wake up, relieved.

    Cheers,
    xoRobyn

  7. How does one fall off the bottom of a mountain? I mean, seriously, what happened?

Thanks for the award, David. I'd love to play, but in a couple of posts (okay?) as I'm in the midst of packing -- a carry-on and a checked carry-on for two months--yipes!--only one sun screen can go--do I risk a few rays and have fun or do I return as I am, LOL!
